First debate tonight should be worth a watch.
It'll be worth seeing what lies and none facts trump comes out with even tho he will still winZedLeg wrote: Tue Sep 29, 2020 5:15 pm I think it'll be a snooze.
Trump will bluster and Biden will ramble on like a 4000 year old man. No useful information will be obtained from either.

The near universal verdict was - expressed in the words of CNN’s political correspondent Dana Bash – a “shitshow”.
I recorded it to watch today but after seeing a highlights clip I don't think I'll bother. The fucknut in Chief just shouts down or talks over Biden constantly.Ascender wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 9:17 am That was pretty much as pointless as we all thought it would be - Trump just behaved as he always does, like a spoiled child, lying through his teeth.

Yeah, I was the same - I read a few reports and sounds like its just an infuriating mess so I'm not going to waste time watching it.McSwede wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 9:27 amI recorded it to watch today but after seeing a highlights clip I don't think I'll bother. I was getting infuriated watching that so the 90min broadcast will be getting deleted. Still can believe so many people vote for that lying, tax dodging cunt!
I guess it doesn't take much imagination to see it happening, which is worrying in itself!DaveE wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:59 am One of my close friends is absolutely convinced the US is heading towards civil war
i think the wall stopped it.ZedLeg wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 2:39 pm TBH having heard it he's clearly more interested as pushing Antifa as the made up threat for this election.
Did that migrant caravan everyone was so scared of ever make it to the US?
Its been on that trajectory for most of his presidency though and I'm genuinely surprised there's not been all-out war in some states given the protests in recent times and the scenes with far right groups turning up with fully automatic weapons etc. Trump has time and time again had the chance to call these people out, defuse the situation and done absolutely nothing about it. I do wonder what will happen if he loses this election though because he's been laying the groundwork for a narrative where he's cheated out of it for a very long time now. Could that see a call to arms from him?DaveE wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:59 am The President of the United States of America failing to condemn white supremacists is surely a low point and a terrifying thing to contemplate...

I think if/when he refuses to leave the a White House it’s pretty much inevitable.DaveE wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:59 am The President of the United States of America failing to condemn white supremacists is surely a low point and a terrifying thing to contemplate...
