...and I definitely haven't got a few of them in that HRC colourscheme in my watch list. Definitely not.

That’s mental! Are all bikes silly cheap to insure?
8 years NCB helps. Plus having a garage, only bothering with TPFT, no commuting cover and fixed (low) mileage.
It's not quick by bike standards but I think I remember looking up that it does the same standing quarter as a Ferrari 355. That'll do for me.

So I've bought a new bike. 2018 KTM Superduke GT in orange:
Just as a side note, I haven't yet paid a deposit. I'm going to arrange collection for a week on Saturday as the bike is in stock.
I don't know if I'd call this bike good looking. It's definitely striking, and they look much better in the flesh than in pictures.
Tres bien Monsieur

Just had the renewal for my RT from Bennetts - £450 with 3 years NCB. Hastings are doing it for £200 so they can fvck right off! Can't remember what my duke is, under £200 I know.

Bennetts came up cheapest this time - £71.02 and hopefully £20 quidco cashback too. Result.

Collecting the KTM on Saturday. Ordered this bad boy to fit on Sunday:
I'll be removing the baffle before it even gets fitted to the bike.

Oh, and I know there’s a few of us that swear by the Abba Superbike stands, but I just wanted to give them a shout out for being awesome enough to have a tool on their website where you can tell them what adapter kit you have already and they tell you whether it will fit your new bike and if not, what bits you need.

Congrats on the utterly essential rear can purchase

- and please don't discuss those stands any more because I really want one and they don't sell them here and shipping would be ruinous and I can't make it work.

I've never had a bike with a standard exhaust and I don't intend to start now. the Remus on the BMW is obnoxious with the baffle in

Yep standard rear cans are for people who fail at life. Fact.

Isn’t there anyone coming to visit you who could bring it with them? I’ve travelled with a wardrobe and chest of drawers before, didn’t even cost extra apart from the odd looks at excess baggage!

Would it really be that bad to have it delivered to someone in the UK and then shipped on to you?

Perhaps not actually. I can get anything shipped here for 14 quid a kilo and they're not as hefty as I had imagined them to be.
In true Pug logic - I'd imagine that if I REALLY wanted one, I'd have drunk-bought it by now.
