Oh yes you are. There's no way you can get this type of look from a leather strap:

That would look infinitely better on a metal bracelet or leather strap.

I'm with Jobson Esq. I'm afraid chaps.

Cant beat a speedmaster on a Nato for example. Leather is ok for one too but the metal bracelets are meh IMO.

Since I have that very watch, I can conclusively say that it looks just as good on a leather strap or NATO. Seiko don't offer it on a metal bracelet but it would probably look quite crap on one; the polished case would need a polished bracelet and that would be way too bling and distract from the lovely panda face.

There's no Brexit element to watches - Switzerland is out of the EU anyway ;)

Are we in disagreement on a lot of things? I didn't think so (Brexit excepted as you say).

NATO FTW. I pretty much don't wear any other straps now.

Ste is correct and the anti-NATO mob so wrong it hurts. A Speedmaster on a dark grey NATO looks miles better than a shiny leather strap or bracelet. Fact.

I'm liking that Seiko panda Simon - they're quite rare now...

Spackerstrapper

As the Bishop said to the actress, I'm forcing this one through no matter how tricky it is.

Do you indulge in pegging with your spackerstrapper, JL?

It means a lady doing you up the arse with a strap on.

Hopefully not a NATO strap on, I don't think I could cope with the humiliation.

Yep, as long as its not a spackerstrap, it's all good. Just give me something to bite onto then give it hell 8-)

I was at the Royal International Air Tatto yesterday and Breitling have a pop up shop there complete with doormen :D. I had no idea that there were so many variations of their watches available, truly mind boggling. I'm guessing Breitling must give a healthy discount to aircrew as they were doing a roaring trade, although they did seem to be buying the more restrained "work" models rather than the gold trinkets.

Seiko Save The Ocean turtle arrived yesterday. It came on the usual silicon Z22 strap so I had an appropriately coloured NATO on order before it arrived.

The dial looks amazing as the light changes. Gorgeous watch. I tried a turtle on when I was on honeymoon and hadn’t appreciated the subtle curvature of the case before; it looks fairly fat in photos but that’s not the case at all on the wrist.

It’d look better on a metal strap... 😉
