If it’s so fucking easy, why aren’t you in charge?
If it’s so fucking hard, why did all but 7 other countries have better results than us?

It’s worse than 203 other countries, and only better than 6. It’s appalling.

Just as an observation, It’s pretty much the same as everything else we as a country have ever done in the last 50 years (compared to our neighbours).

Better than France, Spain and Italy.
Not as good as Scandinavia and Germany.

You’ve got to find the research that supports the answer you want obviously

Total cases per million population. We are discussing our prime minister making a balls up. If you sort that column it's pretty clear we've reacted well.

Either that or he’s failed to realise you can sort that table by the various columns. I fully expect a Trump-esque “I was being sarcastic” type of response.

If you sort by the deaths per million population column we’re 7th worst in the world. That’s my point.

It's not over yet but yes on that current information it's not good.

No it isn’t. Deaths per million population is the 7th worst in the world. How is that “not bad”? It’s appalling and a direct result of a government slow to react. 7th worst in the entire world for deaths per million of population, worse than 3rd world countries. But it’s “not too bad”. Or apparently you’ve argued that cases per million is a better measure and shows it’s working well, or “it’s not good”? Which is it? Be clear or sober up, whichever is most appropriate because your “argument” currently is inconsistent and makes no sense whatsoever.

Going back to variables. Doesn't Germany record the deaths differently if there was other serious (life threatening) underlying conditions or potentially age related death ?

The above has been widely reported a few weeks back but is it possible you can't compare country to country because of other variables ?

To be fair, pick the stats which are within the realms of fair, otherwise It’s like saying our government has been amazing because our deaths by snake bites are so low.

If Italy is the start point for Europe, Austria and Germany are probably the ones we praising, even though they’re both in the WORST 26 COUNTRIES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD EVEN 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES!!!!

Well, we’re at 305 deaths/million only reporting on deaths from (not with) Coronavirus in hospitals. Germany are at 71 with their methodology. They’d need to be under-reporting by nearly 430%.

OK, pick the stat you want use instead of just “constantly complaining”.

As I said, we are doing better than France, Italy Belgium, and Spain, but not as well as Germany and Austria (accepting any anomalies in reporting obviously). These are fair comparisons and where lessons should be learnt/given.

You comparing us to Saint Lucia and the Falklands doesn’t really help, as no government short of Kim Jong Un could have closed us down enough to beat them.

Doing better by what measure?
