Yes, that's what I was referring to.

The M5 looked like it was made of a fair number of separate parts joined together. The 992 appears to have a very large cast aluminium structural piece so I suspect it's going to be an order of magnitude more difficult than the M5. Getting the part in the UK and shipping it in a container isn't going to impact the speed of his rebuild too much if the Murcielago is anything to go by.

But in America and rebuilding it over there. Should be interesting.
Latest episode up last night... finding more serious damage under the car than expected
no -problem, he's just practiced the job on that cheap M5... 😬
True, should be easy :D

It's interesting that the damage he showed was already highlighted with a yellow marker - so they had been previously identified by someone.

Anyway, I had a quick look on Copart, here's his next project

Posting mainly for the size of the field - 50 cars at Imola!

(I did a virtual GTE race at Imola last night, and the first corner was bloody scary with only 10 cars!)

I’ve seen that video a lot and what always stands out is….

How great the 500e sounds, how resistant to understeer it is but mainly how amazingly well the driver did to not run out of brakes, it’s very underbraked on track.

Dave!

Sunday evening means a new video from Harry. This week it's the Porsche Cayenne GT which is the fasted SUV they've ever built.

Some great aurals in this vid 8-) . Check how close spectators are to the track at points. Old track layout, when Conrod straight ran all the way down to Murray's corner without the Chase corners breaking it up a bit.

And said Chase bends are visible in this vid. Mad to think only 10 years separates these films! Field dominated by GrpA touring cars.... Cossie's look epic on the mountain section. 8-)

The views along Conrod :o 8-)
Annoying it was clipped before they said what the speed they reached was
Of course, someone posts a vid like that and you can't just watch the one (erm, two)...;

Probably the right place to post this - speculating, is Hoovie getting divorced? And that reminds me, has Jonny Smith split from Chops? Little things in their recent output have made me wonder.

I wondered about Johnny Smith as well. I listened to the second live from Lotus podcast this morning and he pretended to take a call from his wife, he said, so hopefully not. In the first live podcast released the week before though he was saying his boy came over recently, and he has moved house not so long back but don't know if that's now just his own place. His content has still been top class though.

He cancelled his event last year for personal reasons so wouldn’t surprise me if something has happened.

Crazy vid. The stats on the Nevera are bonkers.

I'm not spending my lottery winnings on one, though. And I know it's a trivial point, but it sounded like the Nevera had a hell of a lot of road debris noise inside the cabin. I thought they would have done more to keep that out, especially at £2m+ list price.. I wouldn't expect that from a humble hatchback.

Side note; I know electric cars are apparently incredible in every single way, but I wish they weren't being made mandatory. That's properly crazy..

He also sold the Jimny which he bought for Chops. And they were going to move into a caravan or something while they built a new house, but talk of that seems to have ceased. Though with building costs going up so much and him going all-in with the Late Brake Show it’s quite possible that’s just not financially sensible.

He mention changes in his life in the latest video and doesn’t seem to have his usual enthusiasm. He also mentioned he needs money.

YouTube seems to be such a risky strategy when it comes to making a living from it and as we've seen, it can be difficult for someone to continue making content the way they want to, which will appeal to enough people to start to get a decent & predictable income from it.
