Like the kid in school trying too hard to be cool and making up some wild story, who then gets found out and pretends they were just joking all along.

He could walk on stage and shoot someone in The face on live tv and still get away with it. It just doesn’t matter, he just says he didn’t do it and that’s that.

You have to say the media take him out of context so often its quite possible to believe he didn't say some stupid things. They do themselves no favours with biased reporting, some could say if they told the truth then he couldnt get away with it.

Nurburgring reopens this Thursday coming, with social distancing measures in place. Think I’ll plan a trip for late May, probably going through Holland though rather than France (from Glasgow). I go to the nurburgring more often than I go to the pub so that will feel like everything more or less back to normal for me

How do you justify that as essential travel though?

If I wanted to lie I could cite my German family that need help looking after their kids. But my thinking is that essential travel only will be eased in the next couple of weeks in time for the end of May

Most were mugged off by the MSM And blue check mark coverage of the collusion investigation and impeachment previously, you’d think people would learn.

Bollocks, he’s an opportunistic liar. How do you take context out of live recordings?
There was plenty of evidence that his campaign did collude with the Russians hence his impeachment. The fact that the rest of his party are as shady as he is doesn’t make everyone else a liar.

Don’t waste your time. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

This. If you've ever watched his briefings for more than 5mins you'll see there's nothing to take out of context. They don't need to - he just opens his mouth and the verbal diarrhoea commences. He never seems to even finish a fvcking sentence - like he's forgotten what he was going to say by the time he gets halfway through it

Posing a question is not a suggestion.

Agree with those saying it's getting busier. On our walks around the village people have been very courteous in observing the 2m rule, but the proportion of people making an effort when passing definitely slipped on the past couple of walks.
Just generally feels a bit busier everywhere too.
We haven't let our standards slip, but I confess that I'm starting to think that this cannot go on for as long as it realistically needs to in order to really knock this on the head. There will be no economy to come back to and any depression would have severe consequences. The fact that the WHO is starting to talk down the antibody immunity now tells you it's probably here to stay.

There’s definitely nothing concerning about an important world leader asking whether their scientific advisors are looking into injecting people with disinfectant in front of an audience of journalists

Posing a question that your average 6 year old knows the answer to is more of a concern, though.

I was reading this morning that Belgium’s death rate per capita is twice that of ours...
28.2/100k vs 56.8/100k

More realistic stats, including care homes etc. They're coming out of lockdown so must be fairly sure things are on the up.
