Loads of forums seem to have been praising up sturgeons speech on the exit strategy whilst slating the uk government for saying pretty much exactly the same thing.

They can't ease restrictions yet, things aren't going to go completely back to normal for a long time, and they won't ease restrictions until certain measures are met.

Speed reading through this thread, I had to return to this as I read it as Taylor Swift opens her doors. Wonder what her view is on that?

I think this weekend’s weather will be the end of lockdown and the government will have to make a decision on Monday about how to proceed with it. The last week has seen a lot more activity round this way in terms of people & traffic, so I think if its going to be as hot as the forecast says, I think a lot of people will just say “fuck it”.

Our little town very busy today, far too many people to either be doing their weekly shop or keyworking.

My elderly neighbours had guests again today. As I've said before they're both in their 80's, both have 'pre-existing conditions', yet continue to entertain. Around Mother's day they had both their (adult) children around and their respective families. Earlier this week one of them was around again. And today they've got elderly guests who I don't recognise (as in, they're not from our close).

Yet when we cross paths in the alley way she is all like 'we gotta keep 2m apart' etc.

I kinda think fuck 'em now. If they're gonna be stupid then I'll stop caring. I had spoken to them via text when all this kicked off offering help with shopping etc so they could stay home. They clearly don't need the help do they?
