There’s been a great one this week of a white fiat 500 driving in, panicking as the back end starts to float, but somehow the engine keeps running and they manage to reverse out 🤣

Insurance pays out for all sorts of accidents caused by stupidity or negligence, I doubt flood damage is much different.

The fiat is the 4th one in the vid Jobbo posted

...maybe even a road closed sign when it's particularly deep...

I thought the bod in the black @ blue LR was an arse, it looked like the chap in the Kia had had second thoughts and was going to reverse out. Then going past it a couple of times to aid the problems...I was hoping he'd have problems.

I haven't heard a previous vid sound so Notts :D

This reminds me I didn't one t'other day;

Going by the first clip in there, and some of the other....driving.....in that vid, how long do we think before someone gets minced by a driver showing off for the cameras at Rufford?

A couple of those came close.

I reckon they’ll put flood gates on it soon enough so it’s only open during the summer.

The first one bod'll claim a dab of oppo, whereas he needs to sacrifice some of his blood to the lords of esp.
Hopefully the first incident will only be car v car, not involving an innocent randomer (for want of a better phrase).

My favourite bit about that one was him standing on the car, yanking on the roof bars to try and pull it away from the wall. :D

The 208 at the start! :D

I wonder how much longer before this whole comes to an unwanted end. The lawlessness in this is insane.

There are some proper dickheads on display. That cock in the black/blue defender needs having a word with.

Won’t be long before something nasty happens, as crowds increase including many children, the knobheads have more people to try and impress.

I saw a Defender rip his rear brake pipes off his back axle by flying though a big puddle at a pay and play day.

Wankers not understanding what they are doing.

Will insurance cover damage from people driving through a ford like that? Low levels I'm guessing are fine, but when it is very deep would that be a problem?

Why wouldn't it?

It's been closed now, I'm guessing the YouTubers and cunts will just move to another Ford and by the end of the decade there will be none left open

Great use of Police resources there ffs. You’d think they could just get 2 vans off the council to park up there instead.

I'm glad it's been closed before someone got hurt 8-)
I wonder if it's as much a seasonal closure as anything else but it's being publicized more to get the numpties away.

It's been closed many times apparently but the arseholes just choose to cut past the road closed signage. So Police presence seems fine to me.

If they didn't and then something happened people would whinge about that as well.
