Boards make a huge difference! Is the suspension standard, looks low!? I always liked the sport racer black accents, would be tempted to do that

Looks std ride height to me (barge boards lower it visually i think).
Speaking of suspension - grab some cheap as chips oem Bilsteins (and rear springs) whilst you can.
here. These are pre-VAT prices, but still crazy cheap. They didnt have any S front dampers but i picked up rears + springs : ready to fit when the time comes.

I'll be getting the black pack fitted, yeah - probably just wrapped. They look a significantly 'sharper' looking car with the SR black IMO.
There's only two CAI option it seems, Komotec and BOE. The former is stupidly expensive, I'm not sure they do the NA anymore, but the "S" one is £700+VAT. With the recommended remap on top it's £1350+VAT
The BOE one is $650 from the states, including shipping, so about £500.

Damn right, that looks fantastic. I have a soft spot for the Evora after the evo competition many years ago now.

Agree completely - works really well with the blue (this may not be the same hue as yours but wotevah) and wrapping it sounds fine. I’d consider adding the GT430 rear wing paint guards in black too if you are getting some vinyl applied anyway?

How was it driving when you got it back, Foz?
Mine is definitely improved post fitting the coils. Not certain it is 35hp improved though so suspect it may be a combination of a few things and possibly carbon build up on the valves. I might have to follow JL and have my orifices inspected
Oh and filling it with 5W-40 instead of 0W-40 seems to have made absolutely
zero difference to it randomly blowing smoke clouds more reminiscent of a wood burning stove full of damp wood than a petrol engine.

Was this car from a dealer or private sale? It seems to have a lot of character!

Well worth it, if only to tick a possible issue from the list. There are before and after dynos on a B7 RS4 that showed a 50 bhp difference, and it actually feels like it.
Yours is the type of engine that would really benefit as well - N/A, high revving etc. I wonder if DFI turbot cars just work the turbo harder to make the same boost to compensate?

Private, I knew stuff needed doing, these like any 16 yr old car need money spending, the parts bar the dampers are actually pretty reasonable, there’s enough companies doing good quality stuff the parts are not as crazy as you would expect.

Yes they are at an age where they all need rolling restoration; £2k pa running cost exc fuel, insurance and tax sounds about right.
Anyway, noticed a few weeks ago, that my old C2 is on the market again; asking price £2.5k more than what I sold it for.

Still for sale.

Did you request 5w-40? I noticed on 9e’s website they mention they use 0W-40 usually.
