I enjoyed the Ro80 one too. Always loved them, and wanted one after reading a twin test of a Citroen GS Birotor with one in a classics mag in the late 80s/early 90s. But I don’t want one after seeing Harry’s video; the noise it made accelerating from the junction at the beginning wasn’t the lovely smooth rotary sound I’d expected and it seemed slow and more of a curiosity than cool like a classic Citroen.

That car wasn't right, it looked slow and whiny!

My best mates dad has one he's owned from new with less miles than that heritage car, same colour too.

Haven't watched it all, but - WTF is going on with that "Bentley" Ultima at approx 2min40s ?

It looks nothing like the Bentley LeMans racer. :?

If anything it looks slightly more like the old Toyota

By slightly I mean if you're short sighted and see it from 200 metres away without glasses on a foggy night.

I watched that bit twice as I thought I'd missed something from his intro. Just "why??"

Seems quite low considering recent high value sales

That early Gallardo seems like decent value, the R32 GT-R as well.

I also thought the Gallardo in grey looked fantastic but seems like there's still plenty of free money around to buy interesting cars at grumpy old me thinks is inflated/undepreciated prices.

That Aston looks incredible from the outside, but what on earth was the 80s CB radio speaker thing doing on the windscreen?

I think Harry's Testarossa is my favourite in the garage with the Zonda departed.

Panel beater needs a cybernetic body as clearly he can never ever be allowed to retire. Love seeing skills like that at work.

I love watching proper old-school bodywork guys too. Amazing what they can do. And as the world slowly wakes up to the benefits of repairing rather than replacing - we need people who can do this kinda shizzle. :geek:

I've fixed dings you people wouldn't believe... crap gaps – shit alignment on the bumper of an Orion... construct a C-pillar - in the dark - from 0.8mm steel plate. All those skills will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to retire.

That was a great video - it has been so long since the previous Testarossa vid that I wondered if I'd missed something. Quite a thumbnail - not clickbait but I'm sure it works well to attract views.

The new Ineos video is out, all the issues he mentions don’t bother me as I’m used to my old Defender. The one big absolute failure for me though is the weight, 3T with me in it is absolutely crazy.

I bet you would be over 3.5 tons when fully kitted out for a holiday somewhere, it’s a big surprise as I was expecting more of a D4 weight, not Hummer.

I saw a dark green one in Guildford last week - they look awful in real life too. That front bumper is straight out of 1970's USA.

My boss just got an end of the line 2016 Defender 90 (with 1200 miles!) the other day and it looks approx 2 million times better than the Ineos mess.

Confirmed everything that I've thought from the start tbh, don't really get what it offers for £50k+ over a decent Defender.

The whole point of it is as a strong utility vehicle, the Defender will never be anything but a great off-roader, it’s just too fragile.

3T is just crazy, super crazy.

Which is a shame as it’s pretty much the only new vehicle I liked 😂

You’d have to really want one to get one. I can think of 4 or 5 things I would buy ahead of it.
