Not wanting to restart an argument so feel free to ignore but felt it was important to highlight this as it’s exactly what I was talking about.
Removing any reference to trans people in the history of the Stonewall is just ahistorical, regardless of how you feel about trans people.

Yep, i imagine every one of us would agree that is wrong - no arguments here.

If there's any positive there, at least it's a clear case of persecution of a group of people that reasonable folks can unite and rally against, instead of pissing about with the semantics of the words sex and gender that has people going round in logical circles

Aye, the lack of subtlety in what they’re doing is really showing the hand of the larger project in a lot of ways.

Ukraine war was poorly managed by Nato allies. The drip feeding of critical gear which only seemed to happen whenever Ukraine were badly on the back foot seemingly to just buy time but to never to make too much of an impact for fear of Putin's empty nuclear threats. After Ukraine failed that major offensive it was a given that they'd not be able to regain lost ground. The Kursk offensive seemed to be applauded but also led to them losing huge swathes of land to the West on a daily basis. Up to 20% now.
Continuing to support it at the current rate will just result in Ukraine eventually losing all their territory.
I still think that Russia taking Ukraine was a given, although by supporting Ukraine we at least let them set Russia back by 10 years before they start the next conflict.
Absolutely.
Biden seemed content to support a managed decline of Ukraine. He and others didn't want to Ukraine to win out of fear of collapse of the Putin regime and potential lashing out. And many countries naively still relied on Putin for energy
But they also didn't want Russia to win. So they seemed to only provide enough support to allow Ukraine compete in spots, but only up to it being a stalemate. All the while, Ukraine was taking losses that it can't as easily replace compared to the Russians.
Ukraine has been successful taking Russian oil refineries offline. Biden's sanctions (which he implemented in his way out instead of doing much earlier..) are all having a massive effect on the Russian economy. It is genuinely starting to fall apart.
But what does Trump do? Concede territory and deny Ukraine to NATO, BEFORE negotiations have started!
Unbelievable.

Oh, and Ukraine gives American $500 billion in rare earths.

It isn't unbelievable, sadly. It was always on the cards because he's got a thing for Vlad and other of his ilk, and whatever leverage the Russians have on him is working.

The art of the deal, man!
If there was ever any doubt that Trump was a Russian asset, that should all now be gone. That along with his other pro-Russian EOs should make it clear

You're both absolutely right!
Military aid continues to arrive in Ukraine. At least there's that for now. But this is an awful outcome for the Ukrainians and probably one they suspected.
The Russians have even resorted to using donkeys and camels in Ukraine. They're hardly in a position of strength!
God knows what will happen to Gaza. And Greenland, and Canada and the Panama canal. It's going to be a mental four years.

I never knew Stonewall, the charity, took it's name from a protest, turning point in the struggle

Unintended consequence of screwing up support for Ukraine, any free nation unsure of their allies willingness to step to their defence will be fast tracking a nuclear weapons program, yay.
And guess what ? There’s a load of US scientists suddenly out of work and looking for new opportunities…

Yeah, the Stonewall riots were a pivotal moment for the lgbt rights movement in America.

Aye, it’s why a lot of New Yorkers hate the likes of Trump and Guiliani.
They pretend they “cleaned up” New York but they just made it better for them and their friends. They tore the heart out of the city in a lot of ways.

The connection between the 5 New York Mafia families and the concrete business during the building boom in Manhattan is another amazing story. Trump tower itself (which family would supply it) was the cause of a disagreement

Trump makes a lot more sense if you consider him as a mob connected slumlord rather than a celebrity or politician or whatever.

It won't happen. Constitution change needs a 2/3 majority in the Senate, which they don't have.

TBH watching dem senators wait outside while the Muskrats have been running riot through government buildings doesn’t give a lot of hope in the strength of the senate at this point.

I would be 100% positive they already have a plan to circumvent that somehow. They're not sitting back expecting to lose their jobs four years from now.
