I saw that news earlier and found it fascinating that this year was the first time when the parents of a school shooters have also been charged for contributing to the murder. It's an incredibly astute move, in the absence of any meaningful action over guns, at least spreading the blame a bit further puts pressure on parents to be a bit more careful with their weapons.
Also, this is old news, but I discovered yesterday that The Onion runs the same headline, every single time there's a mass shooting. Brilliant.
15 yr old female shooter, bringing the total year-to-date US school shooting incidents to an incredible 322
(I think this may include education establishments also ?)

The shooting took place at the Abundant Life Christian School, which has 420 students
That and reeling off stats like it's a sport, you could understand someone doubting it's real.

“Mothers for democracy” released a rather hard hitting video last year highlighting the standard American social media response to all this. Shows it up to be as stupid as it seems

The news are grim. 10 dead with many more seriously injured. The shooter is among the dead and they think he was alone. He's not previously known to the police or connected to any known gangs.
That’s such a stupid statement to make though, we’ve done it.
The scale at which America has weapons is so high that it will never happen.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Americans have lost more guns in house moves than the whole of Europe have legitimately. It’s just a different issue in America.
