That looks so much worse than it sounds, even. Red and yellow should just look a bit Fisher Price rather than clash so badly.

I wondered if the solarbeam was a wrap or a re-paint. Surely somebody at Mercedes should have sent an "are you sure?" back with that order.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

I'm not generally that into red interiors but Merc ones always seem to be the worst. To use a Clarksonism it's like sitting inside a man's washbag.

Presumably, if you're paying cash for a car, they literally don't give a f*ck. But if you're ordering a brand new car in a scheme like that and also looking for finance with Merc, they might just not let you? Or at the least, your finance quote ain't going to be pretty?

That's paint - you can still see the safety/tyre pressure stickers inside the door! That's the kind of car I expect you would win from that McDonalds Monopoly game.

I like his Twitter name, Only9built. I do hope there was only one DBX built with that interior though. Kill it.

He has (or had - it was for sale a while back) a Bristol Fighter.

That looks like some sort of toy car.... and surely that's one of those specs that Aston Martin would have over-ruled unless he's paying cash for it? Or maybe the finance deal has 40% APR or something.

Is that for real??

Mike.

I don't mind that, but what's amazing is that both the paint and leather are different shades of green from my former 90s BMW.

Clearly BMW couldn't find enough green cows from the same herd.

I once saw a white MINI with lime leather and it actually worked. If I could change something about either of the current two it would be to lighter up the interiors a bit. Would have loved the red leather TT interior, just glad I have the glass roof on the Merc or it would be a cave inside.

Have you looked at any car breakers? You can quite often find full interiors for sale

Nah, I am too old to be bothered with swapping out interiors and red often seems to be manual, If and when I swap the TTS for an S5 I will maybe look for one with a red interior though.

A local breaker had a full red leather x5 interior. Must say I would have been tempted if I hadn’t already been throwing money at it, plus I like the unusual half leather it’s already got.
