did you like it? I thought it was weak as hell, all the plot vehicles were completely unbelievable and clunky . The wanker and the boss were well cast, but the two from the inbetweeners were just plain wrong.

Nothing more to tell in the story tbh.

I’ve watched a couple of Netflix series recently - Sinner and Safe. Both decent, and I liked the way they wrapped it up in 1 series too rather than crowbarring in cliff hangers for another series.

Just proves different strokes etc... I did enjoy it yes. There's lots of new 'comedy' around that leaves me cold, but I thought White Gold was pretty funny TBH. Not belly chortling laugh out loud funny, but humorous none-the-less. And what is this 'story' you're looking for in a sitcom?

I’ve just got into Better Call Saul

Half way through season 1 and really enjoying it. I could probably do without the flash back scenes, but it’s a good way to flesh out characters.

So far, a very worthy BB spin-off

Horizon - Jupiter Revealed

Was on BBC2 last night - awesome program about the Juno Mission. Well worth catching on iPlayer

Noticed there's a new season out last night. Might start it tonight.

Anyone been watching Secrets of Cinema with Mark Kermode? It's a bit of a nerdfest about the tropes that build genres of cinema, it's been very good so far. Also good for adding films you haven't seen to the list.

Started Brooklyn 99 the other night, decent brain out comedy.

Ta 8-)

MK's cinema thing is ok, but was a bit too like those top 100 programmes to be really good.

I read that a few times before I realised it wasn’t aimed at the board’s Milton Keynes expert but MK -‘Mark Karamode’ ..

The Jupiter thing’s got a few surprises - we’ll, for me anyway - I won’t spoil it...

I've been watching a bunch of the Netflix comedy specials.

Hannibal Buress, Hannah Gadsby, Sarah Silverman and John Mulaney were good.

Amy Schumer, Judah Friedlander and Joe Rogan were bad.

Chris Rock was disappointing.

I've been watching a power of Chef's Table as well. It's probably not too surprising to discover that some of the chefs featured are absolute arseholes .

I got a cheap offer for Now TV so I've been catching up with Fuck, That's Delicious. It might be better than Diners, Drive ins & Dives.

Try Bo Burnham. His first one is really good. The second one is good.

Bo Burnham is awful zany shit IMHO :)

Bill Burr's was decent... if you like your comedians shouty and angry that is.

Nah, I hated Joe Rogan because it was just a guy shouting.

I'm sure I saw Bo Burnham at the Fringe years ago.

I like how Better Call Saul has 10 episode seasons. It’s not a huge undertaking to watch it

Bit annoyed that the new season is weekly release. Perhaps it’s on TV somewhere else? Anyway, I’m really, really enjoying it and suggest everyone watches

Who is America is getting a bit stale already, isn’t it?

Feels like Sacha got about 3 episodes worth of good content but was asked to stretch it to 7 episodes

Never seen it but I'm going to guess Sasha Baron Cohen made a show poking fun at the silliness of foreigners?

Isn't that getting a bit old now?
