New Top Gear
Re: New Top Gear
Doesn’t look like too much damage but could be underlying stuff as he’d left the road good and proper

Looks absolutely like a death smash..... maybe, not.jamcg wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 6:05 pm https://drivetribe.com/p/paddy-mcguinne ... ce=organic

Re: New Top Gear
I’ve seen 220 VAN around here a number of times over the past month doing various bits of PR work including a couple of months at caffeine and machine (used to drive past it parked on the street at night!) I wonder how many miles it’s accumulating and if it’s being trailered around Yorkshire...

Re: New Top Gear
Funnily enough when tidying out the loft yesterday I found the original XJ220 promo brochure they made - a friend's dad was a lifetime Jag customer and they'd sent him a few to see if he'd be interested.
Cheers,
Mike.

There was a lucky cunt on twitter today who found an original brochure for the McLaren F1 in his loft

Re: New Top Gear
Is a Diablo like that really a £250k car (pre-COVID19 at least)? I didn't realise they were particularly desirable. Far rather have a Countach or a Murcielago.

Re: New Top Gear
Depends how low the mileage is. And 1990 is pretty much the first year they came out isn't it? Ever since Harry's video I'd love one.Jobbo wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2020 10:13 am Is a Diablo like that really a £250k car (pre-COVID19 at least)? I didn't realise they were particularly desirable. Re: New Top Gear
Yes - I think only very low mile late examples could command near that. That one looks likely to worth not a lot more than half.
Re: New Top Gear
Was it the early ones that didn’t have power steering? I bet they’re tricky to catch when they let go...

Re: New Top Gear
I think they weren’t the most forgiving anyway, and Paddy isn’t exactly the smallest guy to be sitting in one of those (probably done for comedic value, but won’t have helped when it let go).
