Life imitates video game...... bold and rather astonishing move in Nascar by Ross Chastain to secure a championship place (I am not sure how their championship works, but I understand the move was successful...).
Apparently totally legal, although very likely to trigger a rule change......
In car
Outside views - many many. 0min45sec is the view from inside the car of the guy he took the place from...

@Barry Nice vid. Obviously the M535i was very much second fiddle to the M5, but I had no idea there were a handful of lightweight homologation cars.

What a fabulous little bit of footage. Perfect focus on something that is really moving
Watch the change in the rear tyres - obviously it doesn’t matter cos tank tracks, but anyway.

It's just a LOT of energy being converted into a LOT of movement, heat and noise. a LOT.

Murci engine built by Mr Bean it seems....
I like Matt's videos a lot.
It’s amazing what he’s found, surprise after surprise, like the hole cut in the transmission tunnel

That's not uncommon. Hoovie did that to his. But it did seem like they saw him coming with this one.

The vendors defintely got the good end of the deal he's going to end up dropping a lot of cash on this one. At least he's gaining a lot of followers on YT to offset it slightly!

i don't think it's even "slightly"- there's good reason why these guys pick the worst examples of these cars - jobs needed equals content. A quick fix and flip doesn't help them at all. That's why he'll spend £5k + changing headlights to facelift versions - it's another 4-5 mins of a video filled.

Work needed equals content, sure, however Mat doesn't get enough subs/views to spend £5k for 5 minutes of content + the sunk cost of the car. Even with the video sponsorship, this car is very spendy.
