That's sketchy af I love the way these guys get airtime off the corners too, it all looks very wild.

That's a great clip - and the Aussie V8 "Supercars" series generally provides some superb (and extremely close) racing. Always felt to me like the spiritual successor to BTCC from the RS500 / E30 M3 era.

Australian touring car racing has always been excellent, looking up the bathurst races from the 80s is worth it.

This is true, and Mt Panorama is a special place. (Aside but it’s only when I drove it on a sim that I appreciated just how it is fast, but also relatively narrow, with nearly zero run off on several corners - very technical and very unforgiving. ). Aside 2 - it’s also really weird watching vids of Bruce Public lapping it (road track) at the 60kph speed limit ).
Even a single car lap can be entertaining

Sretens Alpina is running, quite well.
Apparently Alpina have reached out to him to offer support. P'raps a bit late now..

That car is cursed. I fully expect him to eventually get it perfect only for it to self immolate a day later.

I wonder if it’s something much more nefarious. It’s an Alpina 7 Series after all.

One day I'll have the spare time and money to get back into Hillclimbing and go to the Bathurst round with the track reversed.
Or to really really really scare yourself...

Reversed looks good. Although you tried to confuse me by mentioning it at your first vid, which isn’t reversed. Sneaky.

Yes... Yes, I totally meant that... They must do both Mountain straight and reverse Conrod at times. I was distracted by the improved productioness noise

Nah, I'm pretty sure if it were he'd have come across it before - he's been in touch with BMW and Alpina regarding the car in the past, if there was something truly weird in there I expect it would have been apparent by now.
