My mum bought a fixed roof one of those in 1992. Not in pink mind, dark blue. It had a Moss alarm with remote central locking accompanied by a noise when it locked and had auto up windows too. Twelve year old me thought that was the danglies. Mum sold it within the year when she saw a bellend with a mobile clamped to his ear driving a 'wide-boy' one

A pity but understandable. I don't know what stands out more with that one; the colour, or how straight and solid it seems. I'm ok with the colour and interior, having to park it outside a hardtop would be preferable though. Hmm, guess I'll be seeing if they did one for the soft top... Blooming curiosity

How is it worth anything with no docs - there's literally not a piece worth reusing?

Order a replacement V5, stamp the VIN on a new chassis.

The new owner can request a V5 if it's missing from the DVLA which is probably what someone is buying there.

A period plate, vin and V5.

Yep, that cars never going back on the road, but I bet the plate does, probably on something with a dodgy past.

Or one of those brand new ones built in Wales like Jonny Smith tested, so it qualifies as historic for rallying.

As someone with long legs, I've no idea why more manufacturers don't do extending seat bases. Feels like it's only BMW who seem to do it.
