There were at least some classic shape Minis registered on 51 plates, so late 2001. The last one was built in October 2000 though so any later registered cars won't be any 'newer' than an X-plate.

Lots of interesting stuff in London; most notable was a Testarossa driving up Regent Street, which wasn’t Harry or Harris (reg was 52D) and a lot of G63 AMGs. Clearly more useful in town than in the Cotswolds.

Eldest was very excited when a 765LT drove past us. He counted four Mustangs (common as muck), a Bentayga and a couple of 911s.

I was staying at the intercontinental Park lane and sat outside the side door was a Cayman GT4 and it did look weird with where the spoiler is placed. Other than that it looked lovely and sounded nice. Also a black SF90 (meh) then a yellow Marcos Mantis when heading back to KingsX.

Not a “spotted” as such - bit that is one ugly mothahubbard.

I’m not normally one to hate on people modding cars, but the tdf is about my favourite modern Ferrari and whoever chopped one up to make that needs to be stopped.

Just had a Spitfire nearby 8-)
I saw an MG ZT-T in a pearl yellow (like Liquid Yellow). Possibly hadn't moved for a while. Quite liked it
Also, M reg Corsa Si 5 door in excellent condition; it could have been anything of any age, the condition and cleanliness made it stand out.
Near the Corsa - and totally different - a matt black XJ with (I think) Torque Thrusters, looked nose down arse up. I'll try and find a pic.

Edit; ah, from this pic (not the car I saw) they were XK8 wheels.

This was a coincidence - they arrived and left at different times:

Needs a new MOT but spotted a grey F12 tdf with brown interior and the number plate “2 FLY” and it may well be my “one car for the rest of my life” option!… 🤤🙌🤤
Cheers,

Ian
