£700/year tax and <20mpg.
I'm sure that tax has done for many a car that would otherwise lived on as someone's second or third car when the mpg wouldn't have been an issue
Indeed. I've been looking at some cars but £1500/year (tax/insurance) just to keep it legal before you even start looking at running costs makes for some expensive cost-per-mile.
Oooh, what's caught your interest?

Market's heading in one direction at the moment though, so I think this side of Christmas is a bad time to buy anything....I've been watching Evoras, LC500s, Exiges, R8s and QFs for the last 6 months and stuff just isn't shifting - looks like some fairly reasonably price corrections are afoot, especially on the run upto Christmas and into the new year so I'll see what happens in a few months time.
Despite the long running thread on PH, I don't think there wil be a crash, but I think a reasonable slide.

I agree generally but:

Probably a bad time to buy at full asking price but potentially not such a bad time to do some low-ball offers. You might get lucky with someone who needs the cash in the bank before Christmas.

I think now is a great time to buy, a potential 5% correction is not worth the sacrifice of buying the right car when it becomes available.

Pretty car aside from the grill. I think it’s awful and I’d try and find something aftermarket for that!

One roaming ma ‘hood - seen it about five times now. They somehow look really contrived out in the wild - like something nicely designed in soap that was then used a few times.

It’s not just a grill that, it’s a new bumper, splitter and grill. A snip at $13,300, plus fuck knows how much import duty

The factory grille is indeed awful. I’m not sure the Roma looks like a Ferrari to me either; it has some elements of Aston Martin about it. Like Mik says, a bit contrived.

F-type and DB11 is what I see. Not that that means it's ugly.

With the Portofino, 812 and Roma I guess Ferrari wanted to make all of the shapes
