Ferrari said they pretty much wrote off 2021 but Toto commented yesterday that it’s pointless doing that as they’re not allowed to develop the 2022 cars until some time next year due to the new budget rules

Merc are so fast, surely all the other teams must think they're cheating somehow

Just had a look and Verstappen/Red Bull slower than last year again.
Mercedes being flattered more than normal as Ferrari are paying for being cheating cunts and the Red Bull has rubbish aero. Considering the large power gains Honda must have made this season the Red Bull must be a big step back. Surprised they can’t figure it out as it’s not that different to last years car.

Yeah 1s per lap does not bode well for the rest of the season, at least in terms of excitement. I know the obvious and sensible reasons but I wish they hadn't postponed the new ruleset to 2022, just to see if there was a change. The way things are going I can just see the rest of the teams almost completely switching off development of the current crop of cars.
Quite enjoyed the C4 coverage as it's the first time I've watched it since 2018, given I normally catch the Sky coverage through Fair and Honest means.
You’ve got your pick today as the Sky coverage is free to watch today too.

His premature orgasm during Ocon’s attempted overtake was a bit much.

Can’t stand him, nice to have a live one on c4.
Nice early incident from Albon, not a great way to save your seat.

Generally I much prefer the C4 coverage but a couple of times tgis weekend DC and Edwards have been half asleep and missed things as they're too busy gabbing away

DC just said it's better to have a facial than having it coming up the rear. True that.

Yep, reminded me of that year when both Ferrari’s had the same issue on the final laps.
