Bentleys have always appealed to me. A late Conti T has had a standing spot in my lottery garage for 20 years.
They’re classy muscle cars, what’s not to love?

Judging by this, I'm alone in this, but I just don't see the appeal of Bentleys. I quite liked SJs £10k one, but even if I was a billionaire, I don't think I'd ever want one. They're just big and fat and usually belong to 80 year olds with leather skin.
Agreed.
Get the Quattroporte....that engine is

I aspire to be an 80yr old with leather skin one day. No harm in getting into character sooner.
There’s a lot of craftsmanship to admire in the Mulsanne too.

Thats a fair point, I'll probably want one when I'm 80.

Brakes are still squealing away on the touring, but it needs two new front tyres, so Halfords are here fitting two new P4S. That'll be £600 please.

You’re a brave man
Take pics of the wheels before they start work!

I've not had any issues with them before... are you talking from bitter experience I take it?

When I had a spring break and go through the tyre I had Halfords come to me and they did manage to damage the paintwork on the wheel. I wasn’t particularly bothered as the paint on the wheel was bubbling and needed redoing.

They've fucked my wheels last year as well. Managed to go 8 years or so without any damage on them after having them refurbed and then Halfords struck.

I'm getting right fed up with cars now. The Cayenne started leaking fluid from the rear ARB a week or so ago, so I moved it to a corner of the drive out of the way while dealing with the RR, went to move it today and the battery is flat as a pancake. No idea why. I CBA with it. Will do a low start auction and get shot.

Dropped my Porsche off at National Windscreens in Derby earlier. They seem like a good bunch of lads, but it was worrying having to leave it in their cramped parking bays and premises for a few hours. Fingers crossed...

@Matty I was overtaken by a red Giulia GTA on Clee Hill today and it sounded fabulous. Lovely angry noise then pops as he lifted off.
Obvs I’d have kept up if I’d not been running in. He had to use a downhill straight to make the overtake.

Sorry, not a GTA - I forget the correct name. A QV is it? The normal fast Giulia.

Current Alfa Romeo models to wear the Quadrifoglio badge are the high performance versions of the Giulia and Stelvio. Although the verde adjective is not used with these models, the QV abbreviation is still often used informally when referring to them, for example Alfa Romeo Giulia QV.
