Whatever anyone may think of Musk though, he does Get Shit Done. Maybe in 3 months time everyone's tune will change, and he (and his gf "don
old" - lolz!!) will actually have exacted fantastic change. I can certainly see the (weak)
possibility of a future where the US is managing to do better under these guys, at the expense of the rest of the world. I don't
think that will turn out to be the case, but who knows
Failing that, it'll (probably) be the most drawn out car crash in modern history.

Getting shit done is only admirable if it's the right shit and nothing so far suggests it will be

So did Hitler. And Saddam Hussein prevailed over one of the most peaceful periods in Iraq's history.

He who controls the narrative (and the flock of mindless sheep) controls the past, present and future.

See how we’re being massaged towards believing Reform are a credible election prospect.

...they'd need to rebuild the whole thing from scratch to ensure they were
actually out.
Rebuilding from scratch will take years if not decades. I'm working on an MOD project at the moment that's trying to do that with internal supply chains (anything from getting a pair of socks to a squaddie in Catterick though to delivering tanks & planes to the front line). It's been running seven years and apart from a couple of pilot schemes it's not delivered anything. Nowhere close to rolling out properly.

Agreed, it seems very unlikely that good will ultimately come from it. I'm an eternal optimist though

Today I'm going to make a video explaining how back in the 1980s Reagan slapped tariffs and quotas on imported sugars to protect domestic production, however due to an oversupply of corn (and low prices) in the US, it led to the mass adoption of high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener, which is ironically something that RFK now rails against. Yet another example of how tariffs either have unintended consequences, or lead to increased prices if they'd simply stuck with cane sugar.

More Jasmine Crocketts needed. After accusing colleagues of castrating their Constitutional duty, said:
My job is to make sure we don’t have any kings or queens in this country, but it seems like you all have decided it’s going to be Mr. King and his queen. And y’all can pick which one is which.

Liberals continuing to do the “maybe they’re gay for each other” jokes after lgbtq+ people have repeatedly asked them to stop is very on brand for why they can’t understand why people didn’t want to vote for them.

I’m not really sure what we import from the US ? Actual made in US stuff, not American brands made in China.
I've got a few things that are made in the USA. Probably made in the USA by immigrant labour though

The only things I can think of that are truly US made are Jack Daniels and Taylor Swift concerts
