The rear just looks so damn small to be of much use on a farm? Was the old 90 much bigger in the back? Or just a bit more flexible/adaptable without a bulkhead?
Cheers,

Mike.

Quite enjoyed the review for this.

Can't believe this is the first time that the trend for charging extra for fabric seats on EVs and hybrids has come up

Was it just me who thought the interior looked incredibly cheap and plasticky?

Also, he seemed to be confusing kilometres for miles, or was it me who was getting confused by that?

Impressive off-road, but a pretty impractical boot for a car like that.

Ummm, but on the flip side it seems to go like stink and clearly handles well.
Cheers,

Mike.

Yeah, I don't think the materials the companies are using are that convincing tbh.

If I'm being honest I'd rather see some plush velour, non leather luxury interiors peaked in the late 70s/early 80s

I was very impressed with the Taycan off road. Having cycled through Harry's farm (on a bridleway) this summer, it really is much steeper than it looks on camera.

As for non-leather interiors, JLR sell them too; I saw a fair bit of fuss about the vegan interior on the Velar which was a few grand option, but it did actually look nice. The upgraded leather interiors in the Taycan are the much better choice.

"vegan" car interiors are one of the few things I'd class as virtue signalling. Building a new car is incredibly environmentally damaging but at least you don't have any animal products on your seats

IIRC the fabric eco interior on the new 7 series is the most expensive trim too.
How about not having a sig at all?

Nice. Lots of styling elements remind me of Pete @revsRus ’s 600LT. Engine sounds good to me. Agree that 2nd running to >80mph seems a bit silly.

I like the looks of the Artura - might be down to the spec of that one, and it does look very much like all other McLarens, but it’s better for having no obvious spoilers. Would have one over a 296GTB.

Collecting your new birthday-present-to-yourself Lotus and having an excellent tour planned to run it in on would do that to anyone :D
Bah, next episode isn't up yet :(
