Where's the fun in that?

Plus all the ones I could sensibly afford were terrible, and wouldn't have fitted nicely on that odd concrete pad (previous owners had a hot tub there). £300 of timber and a couple of weekends and I'll get something nice. Plus I have ambitions of building a new workshop so this is a bit of practice.

No offence taken! It’s laugably overbuilt (was comparing with my shed and everything is at least twice as thick) and I’m really enjoying the process. Been looking forward to getting back on it all week :D

Currently sat on the beach at West Wittering. Lovely day so very very busy. Didn't even bother to check the forecast as it was probably wrong anyway. Yesterday was painting some old furniture and then doing a BBQ

I'm in the fucking office all week this week so making the most of the weekend.

Tonight - cook a vindaloo and make a flash pickled onion dish.

Saturday - My 43rd birthday party. Kathryn has decided on an Indian summers theme, hence the curry. There's plenty of Gin and Tonic and IPA. Fortunately, Kathryn has invited her friends and contacts because I could never eat and drink all the food on my own.

Sunday - Recover, tolerate a visit from my mum, Canadian GP.

Today - Been looking at waaay too expensive watches in Nottingham, and will try to conduct complex man-maths calculations over beers at the 5 Lamps this evening.

Tomorrow - Going to the 70 years of Porsche meeting/celebration at Cholmondley Castle in Cheshire.

Sunday - Canadian GP. Hopefully Danny Ric does well again. Lewis is always more fun when he sulks.

Happy birthday JC.

It was 27.5° in Porthmadog yesterday ;)
A pity I was there last weekend
It wasn't bad though, much good weather and many fun miles driven (Llanberis Pass and the like), the front of the car splattered with insects.

Car desperately needs a wash, the lawn needs cutting and I need to do some more 'post move' activities, including sorting the spare room and garage. That and I'll continue renovating/painting the old bedroom furniture and maybe getting a little piano time. Lots of little things but no serious plans.

Missus is having a rough time of it psychologically so isn't taking visitors (or she just thinks I'm a fat scottish cunt who deserves to die, one or'tother) so another weekend by meself again.

Might pull my finger out, head over to Scarbs, get service bits for the car, see some folk, etc.

Off down to Cheddar tonight to race and assist (I'm part of the BLMRA race committee now) in the inaugural RedBull 'Cut it' event tomorrow. It's only a 1 day event and I'm off back home for Sunday for my mums 70th birthday. Trying to fit in washing the car too.

Nothing of interest planned for me, trying to get the garden back under control, and a few pints tomorrow maybe.

In France with the family. Spent today at the rather magnificent Chateau of Chambord. A truly stunning place! There were some people there doing a French supercar run so lots of Aventdors and Huracans, 488 and California. Strangely enough no one noticed my bird shit encrusted C Class 😂😂

Currently sat enjoying a lovely warm evening, a BBQ and some cheap red plonk. Happy days!

BHB.

I went karting here https://www.team-sport.co.uk/go-karting ... gLhOfD_BwE

It wasn't bad, though I failed to set the fastest lap time of our group by half a second :(

Driving across town afterwards made me want an auto, if I was in that situation every day an electric car would certainly appeal.
