Looks very much like some expensive motors with some Lego thrown in. I'm also not keen on them using the Claas Xerion tyres on everything now, though they're at least fairly close to monster-truck tyres.

Bought the lunar lander and dragon boat race, and in the Amazon post half term sales a few more Speed Champions sets and a Lego Movie 2 set... only thing I've built is the big Mustang which is excellent.

My recent purchases: Slave 1 Anniversary edition, Flintstones, Small SnowSpeeder set, Mustang. On order this month, Technic 911 RSR and the Apollo Lander. I definitely have a problem.

It's the fact that it's virtually unobtainable currently which made me get it. I could sell it for a profit, and I'm actually contemplating doing that for once.

Six movies suggests quite a big draw tbh, but I don't disagree with your comments. I've only recently caught the Stranger Things seasons and even that cheaper set doesn't interest me much.

I do have the Apollo Lander on order though.

I got the new Mustang built up this week while prepping for an operation. Temptation proved too much and I dug out the old F40 and Caterham sets that I built ages ago but the ex smashed up - I did the lot and they now adorn the office with the two GT3s... I might have a problem.

I mean slightly, but the tiny lime green blob down the end of the Speed row is the 930 turbo from the twin box. I like the green...

My wife came home with the 911 RSR for me the other day - bit of a surprise! I built Tower Bridge this week, took about 7 hours in total. It's much more lovely after you've put 4000+ pieces together yourself than it is seen, dusty, in a display case in a Lego shop. And you can make sure the suspension bits either side are smoothly aligned; I've never seen one in the flesh where they've been put on with care.
