Odd, it was there as I watched it.

A search didn’t find anything, the menus are poorly laid out or indexed. You’d think there would be a single list somewhere with every artists set. They have it split into genres but they’re not under dance / electronic, indie/rock or pop, or anywhere else. Disclosure aren’t listed under dance, you have to look in the TV highlights section.

Had similar issues last year using a roku box, direct through a smart tv this year so different hardware and almost certainly software revisions.

I agree, I've had to search for quite a few sets.

His view is that he should learn a little control of "force" as for the most part, he'll be playing in halls and small pubs where amplification of the electric instruments isn't great and you don't want the drums overpowering everything.
Without hijacking this into a drum thread, his tutor is right. A lot of young players at the moment seem to want to go full bore Travis Barker or do the RnB gospel chops blazing around a kit hitting hard. 1) That's shit. 2) If you're playing til your hands bleed you're an idiot not a role model. 3) Very few venues will have acoustic room for you to do that until you play big halls. 4) Trying to do it as a kid is a great way to screw your body up. When I was learning we had the grunge and Britpop stuff happening, and I only liked the sound I was making when using big heavy sticks. Doing that damaged my wrists because they weren't fully developed enough to throw them around, and the subtle injuries it caused I still struggle with now.

It's boring and not flamboyant, but if they learn with a bit of moderation they'll still be playing freely in their 70's and probably have got many more gigs along the way.

I’ve been catching up tonight while my wife is out. All the recommendations are good, enjoyed James too, but Orbital getting Mel C on stage to do Wannabe is the best thing I’ve seen. Absolutely brilliant.

What the fuck is a Biffy Clyro, and why does it sound like a fire risk for a bin storage area?

They're bloody brilliant. Gives me hope that there are some young people with some anarchy in them.

I'll be tuning in for them, Deftones and Leftfield. And maybe Alanis Morissette

Their lead singer has an "Alter ego" - The Atmosphere in another band Marmaduke Duke and NOTHING on this earth marks you out as an unmitigated twat than having an alter ego.

Only one man is allowed to have an Alter Ego and that's "The Urge"... ;)
