That was the story Lotus were putting out at the time; whether it was correct when viewed from the inside is another matter of course...
Ah fair enough, well before my time there and now degrading memories thereof.
I think Barker’s reference to calling one of the Evora platform cars an Esprit may have been guesswork though.

One of the first customer cars.

Touring spec chassis, and therefore running Goodyear F1s.

It’s an option for customers who’ve had an Elise/Exige previously - so it feels familiarly tortuous to enter/exit.

Still not convinced by the nostrils...but otherwise, awesome.

One to add to the shopping list in 5 years time. Meanwhile, I'm only hopeful of an Evora price crash. Sorry not sorry @mik

I would give my left nut for an Emira, they are spot on in my view.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

My dad ordered one shortly after Goodwood last year and then cancelled it shortly after Goodwood this year - don’t think he’s got his deposit back yet so maybe it will still randomly turn up
How about not having a sig at all?

AMG version will take most of that time to arrive/volume production. It'll be eff off quick and moddable but sound meh and auto only, is that "better"?

After that will be umpteen sticker packs with 10hp more and worse suspension settings.

As above JFDI 8-)

All of what Rob said. Although with first hand actual hands-on experience in this area we should probably ignore him.
