I don't give a fuck. They won't do anything to stop it happening so why waste my time feeling sorry for them?

I'm surprised it even makes the news nowadays, and I'm not joking.

It’s going to keep getting worse as well.
As well as all the old problems with gun control etc there’s a whole wave of powerful people spewing rhetoric that inspires and encourages these people.
At this point it’s terrorism.

There’s also something like 100 people killed every day by guns and 300 injured. You’re much safer joining the army and going to fight in the Middle East

In the last 72 hours there's been 332 shooting incidents in the US, resulting in 130 deaths and 241 injuries. Adjusting for population size, that would be like 26 dead and 49 injured in the UK since Thursday.

All of the above. Where were all the gun owning winners during any of these shootings btw? That seems to be the crux of their arguments. I need a gun to fight off gun men.. fat good it seems to be doing.

Far too common an occurrence. Unfortunately, they (mostly) accept it as a cost of their “freedom”.
I’ve just updated my kids ESTA, and it’s interesting that they want foreigners social media accounts (to filter out undesirables), but the vast majority of deaths have been from a home-grown threat.

Not just home-grown, but white, home-grown terrorism.

With the ringleader at the top- the messages trumps sending at the minute like the rally with the “send her back” chants are nothing short of horrendous and will only serve to further reinforce these extremist views, trump has basically took America back to 1950 something, just with easy access to internet and communications technology to make hate crime that little bit easier to commit. It’ll be interesting to see what the Texas shooters sentence is, or if it even makes the news.

Just seen this little snippet on bbc news:
“More than a dozen US states have passed laws to remove firearms from mentally unstable gun owners.
But some sheriffs claim the laws violate the Constitution and refuse to enforce them.”
Some people are asking to be shot

Sounds like the Sheriff's are the ones the law is aimed at..
