Matty has never sampled the delights of a Bombay Badboy pot noodle
Don't spill any of the sauce from those things on you, the stain glows for months.
ETA - That's what a fwend told me

You should('nt) try getting the sauce from a shin ramen pot in your eye. It's pretty bad.

Tonightās Ā£8 dinner

Better than any Michelin place
I don't like to ask really, but why do you have what appears to be a turd pickled in urine in that bottle of Fentimans Cherry Cola?

Apparently this place is full of diners each day. Brilliant I thought but we were out so caught the last hour of dinner. The desert menu looked pretty good so a portion of profiteroles to start got ordered.
Pile of sludge arrived 20 mins later which for 7 quid I couldn't let go.
Chef came to see us. Are these frozen? Yes. Ok I'll have my money back and let's speak about it no more.
If you can't do things well don't even try.

I think a lot of these places know they will get good footfall, get a fancily written menu then employ an army of chumps in the kitchen who can't cook for toffee and wind up serving overpriced garbage.

I got food poisoning on Wednesday night at a pretty ādecentā restaurant. The food was shit, like the chef was a Heston wannabe doing crap like deep fried sushi, dousing food in cider vinegar and putting Camembert on pizza. Nothing more frustrating than spunking Ā£50 a person and getting a night of constant shitting, nausea and cramps in return.
Unless youāve only eaten one thing in basically the last month, itās impossible to tell where you got āfood poisoningā from

I hate shit food. I really hate being ripped off in restaurants serving me shit food
I hate it when places clearly donāt care
Thereās too much focus on price these days. I donāt want my meal to be cheap, I want it to be good. And good for what itās supposed to be. I want places to care. I want places to think.
Too often itās shit, cooked to a budget, by the cheapest chefs they can find - and if you donāt pay people enough to care about their job, why should they?
I basically only eat in places with Stars these days or if Iāve been given a recommendation from someone I can trust. Most people canāt be trusted
