Re: Clocks changing
We’d booked lunch for Mother’s Day for 12, not thinking about the clocks changing. No one was hungry. It was terrible.

Re: Clocks changing
I've never owned a car that automatically updates the clock. Most interfaces are quick and easy but Audi's previous gen is shocking poor.Jobbo wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2019 9:49 amSurely it changes itself? I don't think I've been in a car made since about 2004 which didn't just pick up the codes from the radio broadcast or wherever.Alex_ wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2019 8:00 am My dad's 14 plate Audi A4 has probably the worst interface to find the setting to change the time.
Only things I changed manually this year were one clock in my study, the oven (which is always wrong anyway, but I try) and four quartz watches.

Did my 2012 Audi today. Literally <10 seconds to work out and do itAlex_ wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2019 1:48 pmI've never owned a car that automatically updates the clock. Re: Clocks changing
Perhaps you are used to the interface but for someone who don't use it everyday, it's confusing as fuck.240PP wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 6:44 pmDid my 2012 Audi today. Your M235i should do it automatically.Alex_ wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 7:43 pmPerhaps you are used to the interface but for someone who don't use it everyday, it's confusing as fuck.

Re: Clocks changing
The X5 has a selectable auto-update on the date/time; it was deselected for some reason.

Re: Clocks changing
The M135i has the same. It was on auto update and time would not change. I changed it manually then put it back on auto update but it reset itself back an hour. Therefore I just change it manually every year now.
Your opinion is very important for me. Thank you please.
Re: Clocks changing
Maybe not to 2019 though.

Thanks for the nudge
That’s the first time that I genuinely had no idea. Woke up and the oven clock was wrong. Thought WTF?

Re: Clocks changing
I’ll never miss it because it’s the day I probably look forward to most all year.
Usually means I can start working on cars without having to wear a wooly hat and torch.
However, today it is pissing it down.

Re: Clocks changing
Literally only realised just now when I saw this thread. I did think it strange that I slept in later than usual but just put it down to being tired and sleeping well.
