I'm not convinced that's true. I think the collapse of the centre in terms of representation is what's at the heart of the current issues. The Tories and Labour have each lurched further to the Right and Left respectively. By abandoning the middle ground, it's leaving huge swathes of voters disenfranchised, and even MPs feeling like they're in the wrong party, it seems.

You have an incredibly optimistic idea of what life will be like after 29 March. Assuming we leave the EU on that date, whether or not with a deal, you really think the parties will settle down? It's going to be massively worse; things are relatively quiet now because nobody wants to take the reins.

Yes, I do. I don't disagree with what Dave says, however. But believe much of the infighting will cease or be brought under control.

I don't really chime in on the political threads but the above very much sums up how I feel. I am naturally more the the right of centre as far as my politics is concerned but am crushingly disappointed in this current Conservative government. There isn't one of the spineless shitbags that is worthy of my vote and they seem to be doing everything possible to fuck things up. What depresses me further is what/whom is sat on the benches opposite. They're even worse.

What a political mess this country is in and the c*nts wont try do anything together to make in better. Opposition has become all anyone ever does rather than doing whats best for the people of our nation. I'm proper fucked of with it all.

How I chuckled at the USA a while ago when the best they could come up with was the two untrustworthy spaktards they had to decide between come election time and now I look at where we are and I could weep

May didn’t step down despite delivering the biggest defeat in the HoC in nearly 100 years. If that’s the new normal, why would he step down now?

He happily ignored a landslide vote of no confidence in him from his own party in 2016.

Oh, I know our politicians lack many positives, what I don’t understand is why is the UK Press not asking this question?
