And disappointing. I was hoping for a bit of a bang, not a wet fart.

Not exonerated by Mueller, but AG Barr and Rosenstein have concluded there’s no basis for any charges.
Yes, and the Democrats are pushing for full disclosure of the report, but noone has a “smoking gun”. It’ll now descend into a fact-free, he said-she said, political load of bollocks*.

Yes, Barr who was appointed by Trump

When will everyone realise that nothing ever really happens in Trump-world? Never has, never will. There's always something about to blow up and change the world, and each and every time it gets swept under the rug and life stumbles on.

Ooooh I might take that bet. Trumps approval ratings are very low, even amongst his own supporters. I don't think we'll see another term out of him.

Let us not forget all the Trump officials who are currently doing, or about to do serious time.

Looks like, and this might be a massive surprise to everyone, he could just be a bumbling patsy

Yeah, he's either much, much stupider than we think, or much much cleverer. I'm not sure we'll ever know.

The latter while making it seem to be the former. IMO.

Normally with politicians you have to work on the basis of much stupider but with much cleverer advisors. Clearly in Trump's case, as with much else, that may only be partly right as the second bit clearly isn't true

You're gauging this as a human not a panda (despite appearances), right?

I don't know which of your two replies above are the more incomprehensible.

1. Normally politicians are stupider than they appear with clever advisors. Trump's advisors aren't clever.
2. You said he's cleverer than he appears. I'm questioning if you're assessing him as human or panda.

Essentially he makes George Dubya look like a Yale and then Havard graduate. Wait, what...

Interesting suggestion here:

That particular twitter user usually has some quite interesting insights and is worth following for natsec and related infosec type stuff.

You’re right again because It’ll be dead when it gets to the senate, which is republican controlled.
