Normally with politicians you have to work on the basis of much stupider but with much cleverer advisors. Clearly in Trump's case, as with much else, that may only be partly right as the second bit clearly isn't true

1. Normally politicians are stupider than they appear with clever advisors. Trump's advisors aren't clever.
2. You said he's cleverer than he appears. I'm questioning if you're assessing him as human or panda.
