Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
Yeah, on my way to collect it now. Tell me about it, pretty damp too. Hopefully won't be too slippery on my new boots.

I'll put the half hood on I think, it's very refined with that on.

Good seeing you all today. Didn't get to have lunch! Both boys fell asleep in the car before we'd cleared the industrial estate.

Right, well, the results are in, and I think the main thing to remember is that it's not a competition.
So mine will have to wait until after all the losers have posted
And it was followed by a smashing lunch & group photo at Costco.

Shame we missed lunch and the photo (although I doubt the Galaxy would have added much).Sundayjumper wrote: Sat Apr 28, 2018 2:28 pm Right, well, the results are in, and I think the main thing to remember is that it's not a competition.

Previous chart showed 310bhp and 360lb ft so 8 guess this can vary a little. Happy with this.

Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
I think we’re 90% there

Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
95%
As for the porker, well it was off by only 2.8hp*
*by which I mean off my estimate of 350hp. And 2.8 under too. Can’t say I’m not disappointed with 347.2hp even if I guessed it wasn’t putting out quoted figures
The bloke at SRR said it was fuelling fine but had a bit of a misfire at low revs so I guess it may be the coil packs as I mention (unless anyone else has any other ideas). Somehow I don’t think swapping those out is going to make a 32.8hp difference however...
Was a pleasure to meet you guys today and put some faces (and real names) to usernames. Both Jon and Steve’s cars put in some very impressive runs!
I’ll post the graphs and a few pics later tonight.

Factory spec on mine says 380hp and I was expecting it to be well under. In the end it managed this:

I am pretty chuffed
Although it was only after I got home that I realised the second line is AFR, not torque. D'oh. I'll have to try and get another printout with the torque on it.

Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
Didn’t you get two different printouts?

Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
It revs to 7.5k? Good stuff!
Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
Yes, 6k limit here
Still, am I right that the Renault is slightly up on the Aston from 3k through to 5k rpm?

So it seems ! The rev counter doesn’t actually have a red line marked on it. It’s plain all the way to 8k:

(not my pic)
(but my speedo is the same and goes up to 220mph)
Re: Surrey* Rolling Road - Sat 28th April - from about 10am
The redline looks to be 7,250 from that picture. Shame on you for not finding it out much earlier!
How about not having a sig at all?
