Burst? No. Going up at a slower pace. Yes. I think eventually they’ll plateau, but I don’t think we’ll ever see a drastic price reduction for any of the desirable ones. If there is a crash, most owners will just keep hold of them until they are worth more than they paid again.

Buyers are just getting more selective ie right pedigree, no accidents will still sell at silly prices.

Noticed V10 Manuel R8's have dropped to around £50k now. That seems amazing value when you consider 991 turbo's of similar age are twice that and the double Mondeo Vantage are around £80-90k.

I think there is so much more wealth about these days and comparably few decent vehicles that there won’t really be a ‘burst’. I imagine specific cars from different eras will come in and out of fashion and taste as one generation starts to die off and another get into the money.

Only real nail in the coffin that I can see is if petrol/non autonomous cars get banned entirely. Of course your stuff of proper pedigree which is already too valuable to ever be driven will maintain its value but I imagine everything else will become worthless pretty quickly.

They look reasonably tempting but I can't help but feel the new model has made the design of the old one look a bit dated (particularly the interior) and the new ones are still £££. You also don't see any new ones with manual boxes which is a bit disappointing (although I remember dickie meaden ran a V10+ mit manuel so they must exist!)
