I just assumed the rev counter was an attempt to beat Hyundai to the next fakery for EVs.

It has nice styling. I don't want a flat-8; I'm certain it won't sound as good as a flat-6.

Ok, compromise on flat-12? :)

I heard a clip of it moving and being blipped but I’m not sure if it’s real. It did have an EV background pedestrian alerting noise but I couldn’t discern what kind of engine it had from the brief blips
How about not having a sig at all?

If that is the engine noise, it's less characterful than a flat-6. I don't want a flat 12 either Duncs; the flat 6 sounds great and why mess with that?

I don't think they can sell that with just a 6 in it. As much as I obviously love flat 6s, the chance to have a flat 8 puts it into the supremely rarefied atmosphere of a pool of, errr 1.

Obviously they have a lineage of flat 8s in their sport racers in the 60s and 70s so it is an opportunity to resurrect some of their history. Thing is to really impress it needs to be a relatively small swept capacity with a redline close to 9k to give it a properly racey GT3 like feel. The dials showing a redline beginning at 7.5k don't suggest that will be the case, but who knows as this is just a prototype.
