That's what the soundproofing is really for. Holding themselves on the pan will be good practice for an untethered space walk.

I must admit to not giving the latest "Hello World" photo the attention it deserved. Moonlit so you can see stars behind the Earth and also aurora North and South plus some other atmospheric features.

Scott Manley's latest video explained it quite well.

Insane that NASA's entire annual budget equivalent has been consumed and then some by Operation Epstein Fury in Iran (so far)

Donnie T has just said he wants to reduce NASA’s budget by 25% next year whilst increasing Defence spending by 50% to $1.5tn! Guess Spaceforce will be taking over operations in space.. I’m sure that won’t have any consequences of merit

Yes, but it was a Russian diet that did it for that space toilet....

Aye, watched it live too. Basically about as on the button as you could ask for.

Very neat watching them punch a hole through the atmosphere (the last live show from the capsule seemed to show plasma flowing off it) and drop all the way down to the ocean.

Highly compressed awesome.

Interesting top comment on steering the capsule too.

All the internet elbow lickers were on about the heat shield not being up to the job. Unsurprisingly NASA knew better than they did…

Apparently (google searches) around 2% of the global population believe the earth is flat. :?

That’s a fairly terrifying figure, until you realise it’s more like 10% of US citizens (with another 9% claiming to be unsure).
