Peak Ferrari for me is F50 and Enzo.
Ironically both maligned for not being pretty enough when they were new.

I remember a reviewer describing the F50 as looking like a melting soap dish
True. But they at least have decent proportions.

All of these cars stopped being something for people like us years ago, they’re just for tech bro’s and stock brokers now to show off to their mates about.

What Euro NCAP Vulnerable Road User test?
I wondered what the point of it was but see it's replacing the SF90.
The 80s TR wasn't the only one so this one doesn't have to look like it, but why use the name anyway? It's not as if the kiddiwinks who had posters of one on their wall and watched Miami Vice would be prime nostalgic candidates for buying one.

Without a substantial solid ICE in the front it probably could do quite well for head and pelvis impact. Leg impact would depend on the stiffness of the materials making up the snout. The other 4 criteria for VRU are electronic aids so probably does well with the requisite bongs and klaxons.

The styling changes shared by Mik are an improvement although really sculpting out those doors to accentuate the (aerodynamically poor but cool) strakes would make it even more a Testarossa.
