It’s appalling. The fragility of life.
A similar thing happened to a friend’s sister in law, tearing apart their young family.
There’s nothing that can make it any easier, it’s just awful.

Cheers all, his machine got switched off yesterday, his wife was at his side. Certainly makes one look at the annoying mundanities of life in a different light.

Really sorry to hear that Gavin.
Life and death are a strange thing. Really cruel when a life is taken away early.

Got a call from a friend after lunch asking if anyone had heard from our mate today, which was quite unusual and out of character
As I have a key to his house I went round to check and found him laid on his bed, unfortunately passed away
He had MS, so until any autopsy shows different, I’d assume due to complications from that. Looks like he went in his sleep and looked very much at peace. He was only 39

Jeez. That’s also awful. And awful that you had to find him.

Jesus that's awful Gav and Jamcg...
My other half and her mother found her mother's boyfriend in the same way and my dad found his best mate like that. It's an awful thing to go through.

Really sorry to hear that. That's way too young.
