The Czinger is mostly 3D printed
I'd love for building printing to hit mass use (as of yesterday) as house building costs are absolutely nuts here (and seems like everywhere), as much as I'd like to push over an old inefficient house (with a lot of "character") I'm not loading up on half a million dollars in debt to do it.DeskJockey wrote: Thu Aug 28, 2025 10:39 pm At the other end of the scale my BiL worked for a company that was trying to scale 3D printing to make full-size buildings.
There is definitely merit in exploring it. Zoe has very narrow cupholders, and finding a cup that fits (and that my wife likes) is proving difficult. Someone created an insert that fixes the problem and uploaded the schematic to Thingiverse, so I figured I could have one made.
