I went in 2014 and the Porsche's were arguably the best racing on the Sunday. Very wheel to wheel. We walked up to Copse and watched from there. The classic cars that followed had a few old V10's and V12's and while they were only giving it 80%, still sounded ace... 8-)

Just checked - thats the year I went too, and you are correct on all points. I was really disappointed that full throttle was deployed so sparingly on some of the older multi-cylinder cars, but even that really highlighted how dull the 4-bangers of the day sounded.

Annoying - looks like the Porsche Supercup race at the British Grand Prix has been replaced by the Spanish Grand Prix for 2025 :(

No wonder nobody attends the F2 race. 4 hours between that and the F1. I remember it used to be more like an hour gap or 90 mins.
