Just one thing to add - if there is no will, there is still a required order of distribution of assets. It is set out on a .gov website here in what should be a readable form: https://www.gov.uk/inherits-someone-dies-without-will

Thanks that’s appreciated, we just want to do right by her mothers wishes, the money is irrelevant it is the fact that she is trying to go against her mums wishes, the shit side of it is no matter the outcome I am guessing the sister who appointed the solicitor won’t speak to her anymore, they weren’t close but I still find it shit that money can do this to people :roll:
Never be surprised. My Uncle was disowned by the whole family over less than £7000. I had to stop my Dad from nearly killing him. He was a good man till then.
