There's a club in London in which you can buy and smoke cigars

I believe the loophole they use is thar you're not "smoking" you're "sampling" the cigars

Or something...

I learned a long time ago that sometimes buying cheap is a false economy

First time I really remember noticing this was a friend who bought some cheap turntables and a mixer and almost immediately grew out of them (at which point they weren't really worth anything)

So he then went and bought Technics

Seeing this, I waited, saved a bit more and went straight for Technics 😂

I enjoy the occasional cigar while very pissed.

I do not enjoy still tasting it the entire day after 😅

I bought this when I went to the Dominican Republic in, (checks) 1998. I took this photo today. I have no intention of smoking it. No idea why I'm keeping it. It still gives off a faint whiff.

I also had a bottle of Barcelo 151 that I bought on the same trip. That remained untouched until I tipped it down the sink, relatively recently.

A Playboy-reading, fast car driving* uncle used to smoke some slim cigars very often. I think he died quite young...

*Datsun 260Z. First time I ever went over 100mph. Got me into cars, that did.

I will happily puff away on a cigar but some that were too strong and smoked too quickly in my youth put me off a bit. I should really get back into them. I think I have a Petit Turbo somewhere that might be a decade old.
