F1 was my dream car growing up so would be hard to refuse.

But 30 years is a long time and I'd imagine as a pure driving experience the T50 is just better in every way. So I would pick the T50; regret it and wish I'd picked the F1.

The F1 I think I’d be intimidated by but for some strange reason I feel the 50 road car will be more manageable.

I’ve been out off Singers after the Tuthill video, I’d have one of those in a heartbeat if it ever became affordable.

Just wait for one to come up at auction. $20m is affordable when you have $100m on hand.

I’d still be tempted by a Singer but it’d be something based on the turbo dls study.

Also part of the F1 generation, it’s the ultimate. When I’m not doing my mandatory 2k miles, I’d be just sat in it.

Guess nostalgia is a helluva drug.
Oh we do, just not as much as the 6.1 V12 in the F1. The noise from Tiffs TG episode is burned into my pysche.

And I have motorcycles if I want to listen to screaming valves.

I've read it, detail is insufficient - disposing of it by sale gets you three punches to the face, does writing it off get the same?

TBH I preferred the champagne colour they showed but this one had the wing and the turbofans.

Obvs the F1, though I would also spec and have built a Singer - or Tuthill or similar - 911. That wouldn’t be within 2 days so rules it out anyway.

Tyre technology moves on, I wonder how a landsail compares to the original equipment 30 year old Michelins or whatever it would have worn at launch?

I expect it’s an ornament as opposed to a driver

Either that or it’s all they could get after getting a puncture mid-drive, and they will OF COURSE replace it before pushing on.

I'd like to imagine it got a puncture on some far flung Italian mountain pass and that was the only option available at Luigi's tyre emporium...

Mik's rules actually influence this, alongside Catchpole's video.

If I've got to drive it regularly, and it monetarily has no value to me (I don't have kids so I don't care about leaving it to someone) then the answer is T50 for the driving thrills, but with the F1's induction sound please. All that high revving bollocks has got nothing on the gargle of the F1 clearing its throat.

Without Mik's rules and Henry's reaction to driving it, the answer is F1 all day.

And a Singer/911K as well out of the other money obviously.
