The car seemed to have piss poor thermal management - 13 Celsius in Norway and the battery would overheat after 10 mins of charging and throttle right back to the point that it was faster to just charge to 35% each time during a longer road trip. Then the car would have a power limit imposed for that drive as the battery was too hot and had to cool down.
Driving like that sounds appalling. How far would 35% get you? The logistics of mapping out chargers for your drive and coffee breaks would get very tedious.
Oh I get it. I completely understand that for many a Tesla is absolutely the right choice. It's just not _my_ choice, regardless of its benefits.
Fair enough, but I don’t think I’d want to drive a VW either if I didn’t want to support cunts

How about not having a sig at all?

I forgot to mention the other oddity about it. Indicators were on the right hand stalk. That's quite nice in a RHD car but rare. And apparenlty this particular car was Australian spec which is why it had them on the right; UK cars have them on the left, I was told.

Indicators on the right hand side is one thing I wish more cars had. Had it in the VXR8 and as your right hand never really moves away from that position, you can indicate even when changing gears.

Appreciate no one really indicates anymore anyway, and with the rise of the auto no one changes gear either....but still! Right Hand Indicators are the future.

I rented one for a week.. bloody voice telling me to watch out for pedestrians, vehicles, seatbelts drove me insane! Rotating screen, I used once, but then didn’t like the app locations in portrait so put it back to landscape and ignored that function. Shockingly bad to drive, hypersensitive throttle and soft breaks, plus a delay to launch made it frustrating to drive. Daft ventilation controls aswell, I think?

Just had a Jeep Renegade, takes about 30 secs and multiple stabs of start button for it to be ready to move, despite having remote key access. Has fast access to speed warning and lane control, but it’s still 5 button presses to turn them off and return to original screen (including confirming you want lane control off ffs!)
Cheers,

Ian
