Jobbo wrote: Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:58 am Oh, the fuel tank size goes from about 63l to 74l - so not massively more, but I hate filling up so it’s a no-brainer. Audi offer a similar size upgrade on the A6 and A7. I’m sure in both cases the slightly smaller tank reduces the weight just enough to eke out a WLTP benefit.
That sounds like the entire reason for their existence. Sneaky/clever depending on your perspective. Good that they don’t rinse you for a stoopid £ increase for the larger tank.

I was thinking that too. I saw one in what I think was Mexico Blue and it looked fantastic, but they'd just gone for a black interior rather than a matching one.
Cheers,

Mike.

Nice one @Jobbo! My neighbour has a Crayon 71 plate Turbot. Even though it's not my thing, it does look like a nice motor.

I was tempted by two tone (grey/black) but my wife thinks black is more practical. It’s more expensive to go for the crayon stitching anyway so I’m just agreeing with her choice 😄

I’m sure there are possibilities to spec contrast colour centres for the seats but I’m not spending even more on the interior trim. Will have a further play though…

I think the macan is my favourite small SUV, all the others look a bit shit in comparison.
How about not having a sig at all?

How many more do you have to buy in order to be offered the honour of purchasing a GT3?

Bloody hell, first guess. Well done.

A Macan T, due end of June. Will be the Yeti replacement.
Congratulations, you'll love it.

I'd bought 3 Boxsters and 3 Caymans before I was asked why I hadn't 'tried' for a GT4.

I wonder if one Macan a year until the EV version might do it? Judging by the asking prices for one year old base Macans, it could even be profitable 😄

I had to have a quick look at the configurator - I know you probably have no personal interest, but upgrading to the 21" RS Spyder Design wheels for "only" £639 seems unusually cheap for Porsche :?:

They are decently priced. I like the standard 20”s though, and smaller is better of course. Also, virtually every Macan in the showroom was on the 21” RS Spyders so I’m guessing they have made a few too many.

I’ve been tempted to swap for the Vesuvius Grey 20”s for £900 or so, except that’s just a slight change of colour for nearly a grand. So I slapped myself and fiddled with the colour choice for the side blades instead.

My reasoning is that it should be slow at depreciating, and while the prices of most cars have gone up a lot the Macan RRP has stayed fairly consistent - particularly bearing in mind that it has more kit as standard than it did a few years ago. So it's not a totally mad thing to spend money on.

Mr @NotoriousREV had a Macan. Unfortunately it suffered from an unintended sudden stop recently and has gone to the great copart in the sky.

Didn’t realise that - he only just got it non?

Edit: nope - I was thinking about its replacement. Any more info on the incident?

Looks like a similar sized side on whack that I had in my e46 M3. Not fun!
