Obviously on a petrol car, a lot of the heating is from the engine, so is "free", but getting warm using the air heater in an electric car uses much more electricity than the heated seats/wheel
Aye, I saw this somewhere too. I think the latest model 3 is a bit different as it uses a heat pump but probably that is scavenging heat from my battery and making that less efficient?
Going to go stay with my folks the next couple of days so very much looking forward to thieving their electricity!

Got my wife's Yeti (without winter tyres) off the drive eventually using the waffle boards I bought for green-laning but have never actually needed before. DSG clutches smell a bit if you're not careful.

This sounds like the set up line for a joke.

Not too much lying, but what is has turned in to the worst sheet ice I can remember. Obviously the M2 was a wee bit of fun over the weekend, but I'd be amazed if I could get it off the driveway now.

Supposed to be flying to Heathrow tomorrow morning and am wondering how much of a ball ache that's going to be in terms of getting to the airport... delays when at the airport... and getting back etc. Assuming I can get the car off the driveway and down the hill...
