Not sure why it's stupid tbh. An acquired taste, maybe. But then different cultures eat all sorts of weird stuff. Shopping in a Chinese supermarket with my parents from a young age was an eye opener :shock: :lol:

I'd need to have found somewhere to cook it for me anyway, as I'm sure it wouldn't have suffered a 5hr trip in the car nicely.

Ah well, next year - we almost always do Christmas in Edinburgh....

Square sausage is lovely, but its very easy to overcook it and leave you with something approaching chewing on leather.
