Insurance is standard Halifax home insurance with accidental damage cover. Not sure if it's under the accidental damage part though; it should be covered by the standard policy.
No need for rice anyway; I'm amazed how waterproof it is because it's still working fine, it seems. Having already made the claim, Halifax can have the old one and sell it to CEX if they want. Ever wondered why there are so many refurb phones available...?
