All three fall into the category of dirty pizza which always has it’s place in a balanced diet.
Gavster’s first law of pizza is the inverse relationship between pizza quality when hot vs when cold. A greasy dirty minger of a pizza will be banging the next morning. OTOH an artisanal stone baked Neapolitan margarita made with the finest Mozarella di bufala will be like heaven when bubbling hot out the oven, but taste like cardboard after a night in the fridge.
Gavster is correct. Which is why you should always order the largest size of dirty pizza, giving you more leftovers for the next day(s).

That's definitely the idea when ordering, however it doesn't always play out

Indeed he is, and Jobbo is correct too, which is why whenever we have Papa Johns* I always order three XXL pizzas to feed two people

Order that on a Friday and it gets us right through the weekend.
* I'm genuinely a fan of Papa Johns, I'm probably an early adopter here as we used to eat there when I was at Uni in the states in early nineties, they used to have a really good Sunday evening deal that was something like $10 for two XL pizzas.
** We do have a Dominoes locally but we fell out a long time ago when they failed to deliver (literally), were nigh-on impossible to contact, and wouldn't give me a refund for the non-delivered pizza.
*** It's ages since I've had Pizza Hut, all I remember is the bases being really really oily, and the place being overrun with kids. I guess that's their market segment.

I still can't eat cold pizza, but second day reheated pizza from any of those three is the best. No idea why. I'm sure there's some sort of (cheap) chemical reaction going on there but who cares.

Costco 18" pizzas FTW!
Erm, unless I eat the whole thing in one go.

Never eaten a Papa John's, I think I've only ever had 1 Dominos and 1 Pizza Hut. There's always a far, far better option, whether you're after a good pizza or a dirty pizza.

Papa Johns is the best of the three imo, I very rarely order from any of them though.

That's one of my "Never have I ever's"
I have never eaten leftover takeaway's of any description. Not cold or re-heated Pizza, not re-heated Indian or Chinese takeaway the following day etc. NEVER...
Whatever is not eaten on the night is binned. I realise I'm in the wrong with this but I just can't do it.

When I get a pizza I always get a 16 inch to myself so I know I'll have cold pizza for breakfast the next day. Cold rice and curry sauce is also a favourite.

You all need to try a parmo and have leftovers. It also has an even bigger void between good restaurant quality and dirty takeaway

You have leftovers from a parmo?
I don't...I don't understand....
(Re PJ Vs Dom Vs PH, my experience of shuffling around the country and living in many towns over the years, is that it's totally dependant on the local branch - PJ in Welwyn Garden was excellent, but the ones in Stevenage and Pudsey? Passable at best)

Get a full parmo to yourself. You’ll have leftovers

Next-day curry (particularly veggie dishes for some reason) are invariably epic.
Now I am hungry

I have, many a time. Perhaps the parmos are bigger where you're from

WHAT ???
There's a starving child in Africa that would be very happy to eat it.
In fact, there's a hungry grown up right here in Berkshire that would be very happy to eat it.

A supplier just came into our office with dominoes pizzas, he had 12 large pizzas plus cookies and stuff...
.. there's about 10 of us in the office today!
Apparently it's some kind of business special, and was only £105!

WTF Dinny? Curry in particular is always, without fail, better the second time after a re-heat.

Pizza is amazing cold, every other takeaway is amazing in a sandwich cold.

The other issue with fancy pizzas cooked in a traditional way is you need 2 of the things to be full. 5 pieces of pepperoni and a mere set suggestion of cheese is not why I have pizza, it’s to get a good fill in.
Dirty dominos double decidable mighty meaty will do the job. Sod the healthy option, pizzas are to fill a hole.
Dave!
